This manager position will be responsible for developing and maintaining all areas of Human Resources for the Company and will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
The Human Resources Director is responsible for managing the Human Resources function, including developing and administering programs for staffing, employee relations, compensation, training, benefits and workers’ compensation. The position partners with staff management in all of the areas of recruiting and benefits. The Human Resources Director conducts new hire orientations, manages employee transitions, conducts exit interviews and develops and administers employee benefits plans. This position will develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within the company and utilize a hands-on approach with tactical as well as strategic assignments.
Responsibilities
Human Resources Administration
Develops and administers human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel
Plans, organizes, and controls all activities of the department
Develops department goals, objectives, and systems
Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
Coordinates with human resources personnel of foreign subsidiaries
Prepares and distributes reports to executives on headcount, staffing and related matters
Benefits Administration
Manages and administers company benefit programs, including claim resolution, change reporting, invoice approval, and communicating benefit information to employees
Coordinates annual benefit renewal effort that may include a competitive process and evaluation of brokers, service and/or insurance providers
Manages PTO program and administers employee related processes
Administers the Company’s 401k Plan
Compensation Programs
Manages compensation program for all Employees
Develops Employee Appraisal Programs and monitors performance evaluations
Develops and coordinates employee recognition programs
Works with Sales, Finance and other organizations to develop Incentive Compensation and Bonus Plans.
Participates in compensation surveys, analyzes data and makes recommendations
Staffing and Recruitment
Manages administration and recruitment efforts for all full-time employees, independent consultants and temporary employees
Identifies process and resources for any immigration related matters
Coordinates new hire process working with hiring managers
Conducts new employee orientations
Compliance Programs
Ensures compliance with federal and state employment and related regulations
Coordinates with legal counsel on legal matters, as needed
Establishes and maintains documentation for compliance with reporting requirements and compiles reports, as needed
Prepares and updates applicable SOX and ISO 9000 documentation
Employee Relations and Development
Formulates and facilitates employee training sessions on new or ongoing initiatives
Consults with managers and employees on employee relations issues and problems in order to ensure that employees are fairly and equitably treated, legal guidelines are followed and that the business is protected
Performs employee relations counseling and exit interviewing
Develops periodic morale events and initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business or human resource-related field
10+ years of human resource experience with demonstrated knowledge in the areas of compensation, benefits, staffing, organizational development and employee relations
Professional in Human Resources (SPHR/PHR) certificate or other certification in human resource related training programs desired
Experience managing and mentoring junior staff members
Experience with foreign subsidiaries
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Org Chart Applications, Power Point and Word
Knowledge of Equity Edge and ADP Payroll
Strong knowledge of employment laws and government regulations.
Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with various levels within an organization
Team player approach balanced with the ability to work independently
Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment
Proven ability to manage confidential information with sensitivity
Responsible for systems level New Product Support including being involved in advanced design in support, product definition, planning, development, qualifications and product roadmap.
Responsibilities
Driving system visible definition, production issues, and errata resolution of BE products,
Supporting detailed technical communication with several engineering teams through design and production phases,
Generating formal documentation and specifications,
Specify and acquire as well as create models and IP in support of accelerating design into revenue
Tasks include gathering information from a wide range of parties inside and outside of engineering, proposing behavioral definitions and resolutions to issues, and driving tradeoffs between parties. The individual is required to generate high-quality, detailed specifications.
Requirements
BS degree in a technology related field and 7+ years experience, or MS and 5+ years’ experience
Familiarity with General System’s architecture and design experience with PCs, microprocessors, graphics processors (GPUs), IO interconnect and subsystems, power management, and general software design is desirable.
The ideal candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Verilog, programming languages, IC design tools, UNIX platforms, scripting languages, etc. is a plus
