The candidate for this role will automate, develop, deploy, support and own CAD tools & flows that enhance the efficiency and productivity of the Mosys Design Team. Will be directly communicating and working with Multiple Foundry PDKs for leading edge processes. Candidate should be able to develop, deploy and own in-house solutions for any design issues encountered.
Requirements
BSEE or MSEE with a electrical/computer background
5 years of experience in Design Automation / CAD
Hands-on experience with Cadence tools (Virtuoso/Composer/Layout)
Expert on SKILL Language
Expert in PERL, TCL languages
Expert on Linux and Shell scripting
Experience of Version control/Config Management and Release methodologies
PHP/HTML experience is a plus
Ability to adapt and automate using new tools/languages
Experience on analog circuit design/layout is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must
Should be willing to work independently or in teams.
Develop and manage a sales process and channel to drive design wins and provide MoSys’ customers with World Class Pre and Post win support
Responsible for development and execution of sales strategy
Meet or exceed bookings, design win and pending opportunity plan targets
In conjunction with the Director of Sales, is responsible for the creation of monthly sales forecast, closing design wins and finding new qualified opportunities
Responsible for revenue plan management and annual design win plan management
Develop excellent relationships with executives at key accounts and channel partners
Responsible for determining resource needs for customers within the region
Ensure the sales channel is well trained and motivated
Build strong internal communication with Business Divisions and MoSys Executives
Background: Experience and Education
Bachelor Degree in EE or related field, MBA preferred
7-10 Years Sales and Sales Management experience in Semiconductor or IT Systems end markets
Telecom / Datacom Segment experience is desirable
Experience Managing manufacturers representatives
Demonstrated ability to grow and manage complex customer relationships
Demonstrated track record of success in growing sales and market share in a technically related field

Design global designs such as clock distribution (CMOS and CML), repeater design, reference generation and distribution. Design power grid on chip and package, and evaluate the entire power supply from board to transistors. Run ultra/nanosim at the block and chip levels to verify IP blocks and top level design with mixed signal digital and analog blocks. Provide layout guidelines and implement checks for decoupling capacitance, shielding, and substrate taps. Laboratory characterization and debug of prototype and production IC’s and fold learning back into simulation models. Consult DFT engineering with analog and digital observability and controllability.
Requirements
M.S. or equivalent in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years experience.
HSPICE or Spectre, nanosim or ultrasim simulation tools.
